It was a mild sunny day which was good because it meant the bushes were dry and there was pleasant warmth for the morning tea pot on by the city of Hobart

Very large Gorse bushes were discovered and that kept part of the group busy, whilst the remainder concentrated on clearing Erica. There are still more of both to do on another occasion.

At the bottom of the slope there is a dense  patch of Erica that would best be tackled with spray beyond that is a lot on cascade land and it is hoped that Tasnetworks or cascade will be persuaded to undertake the work of removing it.
