Weed Follow Up
New Town Rivulet
Tuesday 5 October 2021
After a run of wet weather, we were fortunate to have a fine morning. The main objective was to locate and remove Caper Spurge hiding amongst the Bracken Fern. There was not as much as expected and hopefully that is the way it stays, but as it can multiply rapidly a follow up will be needed before long.
One weed that had spread enormously was Forget Me Nots and was too extensive for us to control, although some areas were tackled. The pocket of Arum Lily was still looking healthy, despite having been sprayed several months ago.
