A patch of remaining Erica had primary weeding done and a few big old Gorse bushes were removed. Some follow up on previous worked areas revealed Erica seedlings and some of these were pulled out.

The Erica on Cascade owned land that had been sprayed by TasNetworks was generally looking dead, but a few bushes had resprouts at the base. A Foxglove plant was discovered in this area and unfortunately further to the south quite a number were located and small pockets found even further in that direction (towards Old Farm Road). The concern is stopping it being spread into Wellington Park, ideally by eradicating it from the Cascade land.
