Thark Ridge Montagu Track

After clearing a section of track in December, it was felt that adding an extra day would enable the thick overgrown section to cleared this summer. In fact things went better than expected and the Parks (PWS) duo managed to get in all done on this day. We will still work on Thark Ridge at the next event, but on a much closer spot that needs attention.

Because of a problem on the Pipeline Track we had to access the work site by a two plus hour walk from Big Bend, meaning quite an effort from all involved, especially for the Parks staff with the weight of the cutting equipment.
