Almost Through the Thickest

Thark to Devils Link
The weather was ideal for working with some cloud and sun at times making a pleasant temperature. Insects were not notable except there were a few mosquitoes about at morning break and lunch but were not much bother.
Most of the length we worked at clearing was dense vegetation making it one of the hardest sections. The fact that we managed 116 metres was quite impressive. A short section of dense bush remains then it is more open with rocky and drier surface.
Below there is 200 metres to reach the Devils Throne Track and above to the junction with the Thark Ridge Track some 180 metres remain to be done.

There were many wildflowers out making it even more pleasant to be in the bush. These can be seen in the photo album.
