This was a return to a location after for 14 years and unsurprisingly there was plenty of new Spanish Heath present.  All that could be found were removed and there was also time to delve into a spot that had been overlooked previously.   The plants here appeared to be old but not doing that well because of overshading.

Some Radiata pine that had been ring barked and poisoned on 3 April 2012 (exactly 12 years ago) had now fallen and were rotting;   Good to see.
