Continuing from the August 2025 work we scouted the open flat area close to where a pine plantation had existed and found more than enough small plants to remove.  Many seemed to be re-sprouts and had decent roots, but most could be pulled out often with the help of pliers.

If we had more volunteers the job could have been completely finshed.
