Nelson Track

We removed several hundred Spanish Heath plants from along the Wellington Park section of the old track to the east of Mt. Hull. Plants were of mixed age.
We also found a couple of large Elisha’s Tears / Himalayan Honeysuckle (Leycesteria formosa) plants near the park boundary. As these are basically dormant in Winter we simply cut them back to ground level to impede flowering and fruiting in the coming season.
