The Wet Area Completed

The last 4-5 metres of track was hardened completing a 20 metre section tat had been degraded.  The area becomes wet with puddles of water for lengthy periods of the year and this has resulted in much braiding and damage to vegetation.

The rocks used were generally quite large and the three track members from City of Hobart along with Greg were needed to carry each rock, with the aid of a stretcher.

Some photos were taken and the location of each recorded so that over time the spots can be revisited, and condition of the ground compared.  Hopefully if walkers stick to the hardened track it should start to show improvements within 12 months.

Quite a number of walkers went past, and it was good to see that most were reasonably young
