Goat Hills
Tuesday 4 October 2022
At last, a fine day for working at Goat Hills. Initially the area above Goat Fire Trail was checked over and all stray Spanish Heath that could be found were removed. Following morning break, we moved to the lower side of the track and tackled patches of older bushes. Fortunately, the soil was soft below the surface and even large bushes could be pulled out without too much effort.
The areas worked on were fully cleared, however in some spots there were a number of small plants and no doubt some were missed.
